Erik burst into the most heartfelt laugh he had ever had in his life. He never thought he would feel this way after having killed someone.

It wasn't only because he finally got rid of Logan, Conal, and Orson but also because of the experience he gained having killed the three pricks. He got three whole levels on the same day!

As he laughed, he felt himself grow stronger with each second as the mana seeped inside his body; soon, he would be able to do things no one else around here could dream possible.

The feeling and the joy made him want to keep laughing for hours; he couldn't stop thinking about how much fun it had been when he'd shot down those three mother**ers.

"Whoa, my mana increased greatly," the young man said. "System, spend all the attribute points to Energy," he then added, and immediately he felt a surge of energy run through his body. It was an invigorating feeling.

He now had much more energy than before, and he could be considered a full-fledged E-ranker. If he kept improving his energy, jumping to the D rank was only a matter of time.

The young man looked at Logan's body, and while doing so, he noticed Logan's brain crystal. "After all... why not?" a dark thought and a theory spread inside Erik's mind.

He started walking toward the bully's body and dipped his finger inside the blood streaming out of his wounds, he then licked it, and a notification rang inside his mind.

"NO," Erik resolutely said. He needed to go home before extracting the blood. Though Erik's theory was correct, he could also extract human brain crystal powers!

Erik was in a deranged state at that moment, and he couldn't quite comprehend how dark his thoughts were since he was thinking about killing people and stealing their blood crystals.

As he had these thoughts, Erik reached Logan's brain; he put his hands inside and slowly got his brain crystal out of his head. After having cleaned it, he swallowed it whole, and a new notification rang.

[LOGAN REID'S BRAIN CRYSTAL ACQUIRED. STARTING THE ANALYSIS.]

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH" Erik maniacally laughed again. "With all these powers, I will become invincible!" he said. "Too bad I can't use them on other people..." he added.

Since Erik could also absorb human brain crystal powers, he decided to go back to where Conal, Orson, and the Lomalins died. He absorbed and swallowed their blood and brain crystals.

He had enough DNA points to absorb the abilities of Logan, Conal, and Orson, but he did not have enough to obtain the Lomalins ability. The latter's brain crystal powers could be quite advantageous in dangerous circumstances.

Though, with Logan's power, he didn't even need to fight melee against his enemies since he could simply poison them from afar and just wait for them to die.

Aside from that, nobody was aware that he possessed these powers, which meant that he had the potential to kill everyone without anyone being able to attribute their deaths to him.

As for the Lomalin brain crystal power, he only had to wait four days before being able to extract the brain crystal power.

Erik was so taken by his delusions that he didn't notice that it was getting late, nor that he was having thoughts that he could have never imagined having two weeks prior.

As Erik collected all the blood and the brain crystal, he also decided to rob Logan, Conal, and Orson. They had quite a bit of cash on them, probably stolen by the many people they bullied at school.

"No one will probably miss them."

The young man then spent some time hiding the bodies far from the barrier and the wheat fields since people could still see them from within the barrier. After that, he undressed, burned his clothes, and changed into a clean pair to avoid any problems.

"I hope thaids will soon devour the bodies," the young man creepily said.

After that, he hid his traces and walked toward the breach. After reaching it, he walked toward Mister Fox's farm, where he had to spend another working day.

He walked through the golden wheat field with a crazy look. It was like he was possessed by a vengeful ghost, unable to think about anything but his recent kills and how he fulfilled his vengeance.

Many people said that revenge didn't make you feel better, but that was not the case for Erik, who was happy that finally, his nightmare was over.

After a little bit of walking, Erik arrived to the unpaved road, he slowly and calmly walked toward Mister Fox's farm. He wasn't very late since the ordeal took him half an hour at best, and he arrived at Mister Fox's farm after a short distance.

He could see the old man already working in the field, wearing a white tank top with mud stains on it. As he approached the old man, he suddenly turned to look at Erik and then said, "You are late again."

"Sorry, Mister Fox, things are becoming eclectic these days."

"Don't be sorry because I will keep five new dollars from your daily pay," the old man angrily said.
